The University of Arizona Nutrition Network Education Program is a nutrition education program for adults and children in Pinal County. Currently our staff provides K- 8 classroom presentations at 20 elementary schools within the county, with plans to support more school based school wellness activities this school year.
Our adult programming is in coordination with local food banks, senior centers and Pinal County WIC offices. Prior experience with school age children and education/training in basic nutrition education principals is preferred but not required. The position will be mainly during normal school hours but some after school and evening commitments may be possible.Program Locations: Various Sites in Pinal County (U of A Cooperative Extension office, Elementary Schools, Parks and Recreation sites, Community Food Banks, Senior Centers, etc.)Two Reduced time slot (675 hours) and one Quarter-Time (450 hours) will be available.
