The TYPE WING Support shall have five (5) years Navy or equivalent experience working with the following:

o Project Management

o Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet (CPF) Navy Marine Corp Intranet (NMCI) procurement process.

o NMCI Enterprise Tools (NET)

o Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet (CPF) Outside Continental United States(OCONUS) Navy Enterprise Networks (ONE-NET) procurement process

o Navy Information Technology Approval Systems (NAV-ITAS) process and procedures.

o Defense Logistics Agency(DLA) Multi-Function Device(MFD) procurement and sustainment process and procedures.

o IT Asset Management

o Basic IT asset inoperability and connectivity degradation troubleshooting methods

o Customer Service as well as written as oral communications skills.

o Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).


Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, or an equivalent bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or five (5) or more years of experience working for the Department of Navy (DoN) supporting Information Technology (IT) systems such as but not limited to Navy Marine Corp Intranet (NMCI), Consolidated Afloat Network Enterprise Systems (CANES).

Skills and Abilities:

In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, TYPE WING Support may have one of the following certifications to comply with Department of Defense (DoD) 8570.01-M IAT Level II Baseline Certification requirements: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP.

The ZINE consists of a group of system experts that support, mentor, and train all members of the zone including sales, solutions, and service. We are seeking a Service Technician II to support our Atlantic ZINE customers and ensure that their building automation systems are properly maintained and operating correctly. Responsibilities: * Acts as a technical resource to team and customer as needed. * Participates in sales to operations turnover meetings to evaluate accuracy of the sales estimate and job layout. * May participate in initial job site walk through with contractors and/or building management. * Performs checkout of building automation systems, which includes point verification, programming, sequence of operation checkout and verification. * Analyzes plans, construction contract specifications, and codes to determine project requirements and risks; provides value engineering ideas and details. * Generates database of programmed DDC points for the controller. * Provides start-up and checkout documentation to the Project Manager and system specialist for use in commissioning and validation. * Participates and may help develop system graphics. * Ensures the job folder is organized and maintained including all pertinent job related information. * Performs field activities as required. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Education: * Required education: High school diploma, state-recognized GED, or state recognized high school proficiency exam. * Required travel: 50% * Required experience: Electrical or mechanical experience that will allow the hired candidate to quickly learn our building automation systems. * Other requirements: * Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. * Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Adobe PDF * Strong customer service skills. * Good verbal and written communications skills in English. * Ability to read and understand design and construction documents. * Skilled in the PC applications and in the use of word processing and spreadsheet programs. * Ability to work in a variety of circumstances including climbing ladders, scaffolds and high-lift equipment as well as working in ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings. * Must be able to differentiate types/colors of wire. * Must be able to use hand-tools. * Must be able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted. * Ability to act as a mentor and trainer for entry level ZINE Technicians * Must possess a valid Driver's license in good standing. * Must be at least 21 years of age in order to participate in the required Siemens vehicle plan. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Education: * Preferred education: Bachelor's degree. * Preferred experience: experience with programming, job start-up and checkout, and troubleshooting of building automation systems.
