The TV Entertainment Cyber Security Business Leader will be a lead contributor to the NBC Universal Cyber Security organization, responsible for executing and contributing to the Cyber Security strategy and maintaining operational engagement with key TV Entertainment leaders.

The Cyber Security Business Leader will assess business Cyber Security practices and provide recommendations on the implementation of security controls, technologies and supporting workflows consistent with the NBC Universal Cyber Security strategy. This position requires an experienced security professional, ideally with experience in the media and entertainment industry in customer facing roles supporting diverse international business requirements.

A successful candidate is expected to understand and articulate business processes and risks while leveraging existing internal and external business and technology resources to provide program and project related insight. Clear and concise oral and written communication are required.

  • Advise and lead the execution of a comprehensive Cyber Security risk-based program for NBC Universal's TV Entertainment business

  • Provide insight and seek support from the enterprise NBC Universal Cyber Security function to inform and align with the TV Entertainment strategy

  • Support Cyber Security organization leadership in the identification and communication of relevant Cyber Security-related issues, risks, and events, including leading operational engagement and supporting metrics for measuring Cyber Security maturity

  • Keep abreast of Cyber Security trends, with an ability to articulate security related themes and principles in business terms

  • Drive the implementation of Cyber Security programs and leading practice controls, with an understanding of active defense security principles and strategies

  • Lead business-engaged risk exercises to identify and measure risk posture and provide recommendations on mitigation strategies

  • Actively engage and support security incident response team in resolution and close of investigations of incidents with ownership of post mortem and remediation plans

  • Support the development of business-relevant metrics and key performance indicators to measure Cyber Security program maturity

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years combined work experience in IT infrastructure, networking and security in a globally distributed environment

  • Minimum 3 years working with security technologies including security architecture, IDS/IPS, digital certificates, encryption, and authentication, advanced anti-malware systems, security log collection, and deep analytic analysis

  • Minimum 3 years in customer facing technical engagement roles, including service and solution delivery

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of time, as needed, including overnight stays

Desired Characteristics

  • Media or Entertainment industry experience

  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field of study

  • Training in Cyber Security specific disciplines

  • Ability to communicate effectively to business and technical teams

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate to all levels of an organization

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple initiatives

  • Demonstrated negotiation and problem resolution skills

VIEW JOBS 9/12/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-12-11T00:00 Description: In support to the Cyber Security Fusion Center (CSFC) mission, the CSFC Core Team is responsible for analyzing cyber threat information designed to increase Citi's cyber threat awareness and protection levels. By providing awareness, indications, warnings, and operational readiness, the CSFC Core Team protects the Citi brand, global business operations, technology infrastructure and client trust against cyber threats worldwide. The Global Cyber Crisis Manager reports to the Head of Fusion Center Operations and leads a CSFC full-spectrum cyber crisis management (CM) and incident response (IR) capability to mitigate vulnerability and protect the critical resources of Citi and it's clients. Role/Responsibilities: * Maintaining and updating CSFC cyber crisis management (CM) playbooks, plans, and runbooks. * Authoring new CSFC Cyber Crisis Action Plans for specific incident types, to include researching incident type, adversary TTPs, organizational response plans and business impacts. * Providing quality assurance to Global Head of Cyber Fusion Centers, and Head of Fusion Center Operations, on CM and IR efforts. * Assuring a coordinated and responsive global cyber crisis management capability, and providing direction and guidance to CSFC regional Core teams regarding CM and IR processes. * Maintaining readiness of CSFC Core teams to respond to cyber incident(s) through management of recurring training events, to include drills, practical exercises, and seminar-based training. * Participating in global cyber exercise team events as a CSFC SME. * Coordinating with Global Security Service Crisis Management (GSSCM) regarding crisis management processes, and maintaining a common crisis management playbook. * Coordinating with Citi Security and Investigative Services (CSIS) on cyber incident response plans and on high-interest cyber forensic investigations. * Acting as CSFC Continuity of Business leader and liaison when necessary. * Representing the CSFC during audits and regulatory exams evaluating cyber crisis management processes and procedures. * Representing Citi CSFC in meetings with external partners such as FSARC and FINRA, and participating in developing joint cyber action and communications plans. * Being recognized as a cyber crisis management thought leader, and an integral member in Citi cyber engagements regarding cyber incident response processes. * Identifying methods in which CSFC cyber crisis management, analysis, or intelligence can add value and be the best for our clients and stakeholders. * Providing direct support to Head of Fusion Center Operations on priority projects as directed. * Travel: 15% of the time. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred), or equivalent work experience. * 10+ years of security or intelligence experience, preferably with an extensive understanding of cyber threat actors and their tactics, techniques, and procedures. * Strong understanding of the tools and sources available to conduct cyber security alerting, analysis, and enhanced situational awareness. * Operational planning experience that includes cyber/technical disciplines. * Experience working in security operations, military operations, intelligence assessment and/or cyber fusion center environments preferred. * Understanding of cyber security topics, the internet, and security with a passionate desire to learn more. * Experience in education or training is essential. * Strong background working with law enforcement and intelligence organizations. * Demonstrated ability to lead regionally diverse teams focused information technology and security challenges. * Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills and demonstrated ability to understand, collate and explain complex information to a variety of audiences.
