Tutor

Job Summary/Basic Function:

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide one-to-one and group tutoring. In addition, the following duties may be expected:

1.Assist students virtually on TEAMS in addition to face to face

2.Prepare and present workshops

3.Provide customer service on desk as needed; escorting students to staff, answering phone calls, taking messages, log students into computers

4.Record student performance on a daily or weekly basis

5.Record in-class activities by data entry and hard copy

6.Assist in class tours and visits to the Academic Success Center

7.Attend in-service training and marketing events on campus as needed

8.Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: 1. High school diploma or GED equivalent

Experience:

1.Must have completed at least 12 college credit hours with a cumulative grade

point average of 3.0 or higher

2.Must have earned an "A" grade in the course assigned to for tutoring
