Posting Number:S00066P Position Title:Tutor Position Type:Hourly Department:Academic Success Essential Function:Job Summary/Basic Function: The primary responsibility of this position is to provide one-to-one and group tutoring. In addition, the following duties may be expected: 1. Assist students virtually on TEAMS in addition to face to face2. Prepare and present workshops3. Provide customer service on desk as needed; escorting students to staff, answering phone calls, taking messages, log students into computers4. Record student performance on a daily or weekly basis5. Record in-class activities by data entry and hard copy6. Assist in class tours and visits to the Academic Success Center7. Attend in-service training and marketing events on campus as needed8. Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications: Education: 1. High school diploma or GED equivalent Experience: 1. Must have completed at least 12 college credit hours with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher2. Must have earned an “A” grade in the course assigned to for tutoring Responsibilities:Skills: 1. Good people skills2. Demonstrate a desire to help students3. Strong understanding and use of Microsoft applications4. Demonstrate knowledge of campus resources Posting Date:01/10/2023 Special Instructions to Applicants:1. $19 to $26 per hour (pay determined by education and experience); maximum 28 hours per week. 2.
