As a Turf/Pest Route Manager, you'll have the opportunity to work outdoors, apply turf treatments and pest control applications, and provide exceptional customer service.

What does a Turf Route Manager do?

• Deliver excellent account management and customer service

• Manage a route consisting of 400-500 customers

• Handle turf bid requests, fertilization applications, aerating, seeding, pest applications and service calls for customer properties

• Diagnose and provide specific lawn care and pest control solutions for individual customer properties

• Collaborate effectively in a team environment and working efficiently independently

• Demonstrate knowledge of turf grass practices and other RYAN services

Our training program will help you build your skillset to be successful in this position.

Requirements

• Prefer 2+ years of experience in the green or agricultural industry

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in agronomy, turf grass, or agricultural sciences is a plus

• Possession of a valid Driver's License

• Ability to obtain DOT certification

• Capability to obtain and maintain a state-issued pesticide applicator license for turf/pest within 3 months

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Excellent customer service skills

• Ability to to work in all weather conditions

• Willingness to learn new skills and work in other departments to help the company achieve its goals.
