Minimum Qualifications:

• Excellent attendance

• Work at heights of up to 25 feet

• Work in elevated positions on tufting machines

• Reading ,writing ,and math skills

• Basic knowledge of tool types and uses

• Identify and repair any tufting related defects

• Understanding of basic mechanical operation of a tufting machine

• Mechanical aptitude

• Move and lift up to 50 pounds several times during the shift

• Have a positive attitude

• Must be a safety minded individual that puts safety first

• Must be able to work well with others and take instructions

• Must be a self-motivated

Job Tasks:

• Basic Knowledge of creeling responsibilities

• Basic Knowledge/experience of machine operator responsibility

• Experience in using tools

• Ability to order machine parts

• Assist on other shifts as needed

• Assist lead mechanic as needed

• CANDIDATES ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE THESE JOB FUNCTIONS IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS JOB.

• The candidate awarded the Tufting Mechanic II position shall serve a 90 day probationary period in this position.
