  •      Contributes to metadata standards and strategy in conjunction with data governance leadership by creating a data catalogue to inventory and organizing all of NGA data assets in the enterprise metadata repository.

    • Creates process and manage key agency projects to oversee that delivery is consistent with data governance guidelines.
  •      Participates in IC driven Data Standards committees and team discussions regarding data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of NGA Data Lakes and Warehouses. 
    • Designs and oversees development of stewardship dashboards and related reporting and workflows associated with the metadata tools.
  •      Plans and manages the development of efficient metadata ingestion processes with the goal of keeping the enterprise metadata repository synchronized with source systems.
    • Required Skills:
    Intermediate to advanced experience using Microsoft Office suite applications.
  •      Intermediate to advanced experience using Oracle RDBMS.

    • Intermediate to advanced experience using postgreSQL RDBMS.
  •      Ability to create and run PowerShell applications.

    • Intermediate to advanced experience in Windows/Linux Administration.
    Intermediate to advanced experience using Tomcat and JBoss Servers.
