Ts/Sci Data Integrator

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Data Integrator to support a critical intelligence and analytics program for DIA/NGA across various locations throughout the DMV. The team is seeking a skilled engineer to perform high volume data transfer and integration tasks for an application development and sustainment program.

Clearance: TS/SCI - willing to sit for CI Polygraph

Location: Reston, VA; Washington, D.C.; College Park, MD

Responsibilities of the Data Integrator:

• Work with a team of developers on data integration requirements.

• Write and maintain code using an Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) platform to transform data to suitable formats as defined by IC ITE initiatives.

• Interface with external teams and systems to collect data via myriad protocols including HTML and SFTP

• Add features to ETL platform to shorten timelines for future data integration efforts.

• Develop and maintain code and integrate software into a fully functional software system.

• Work with external teams to validate data ingest.

• Utilize object oriented programming languages (Java & Python) to read and manipulate data

• Provide and maintain documentation of system architecture, development, and enhancements.

Qualifications of the Data Integrator:

• Active Top Secret/SCI (ability to obtain CI Polygraph)

• Bachelor's and 8 or more years' experience

• Linux/Unix experience

• Object Oriented programming language experience:

• Programming languages: PHP, Python, C#, Java

• Abstraction

• Encapsulation

• Polymorphism

• Inheritance: Single, multiple, and multilevel

• Understanding objects and classes

• Experience working with interfaces

• Expertise in data ingestion, data transformation (ETL), and data modeling.

• ETL transformation is the process of converting raw data from source systems into a format that is suitable for the target system. A good example of this is a retail business that operates multiple stores across different regions. The business collects data on daily sales, inventory, and customer demographics on a daily basis and wants to integrate this data into a data warehouse or data lake for data analysis and reporting

• Experience with Ruby, Java, or Python

• One year working with Restful web services, NoSQL, PostgreSQL

Compensation of the Data Integrator:

• Total compensation based on experience level - $130,000 - $190,000
