Now, Rover.com and the benefits we spread to pet lovers is expanding further in Europe! We are looking for multilingual Trust and Safety Agents - German / French in our Spokane office to support our European users.

About the Trust & Safety Team

Rover's Trust & Safety team is responsible for providing excellent customer care through prevention and resolution of safety issues while balancing and mitigating risk to the company and our customers. We aim to provide expedient and thoughtful resolution through investigation, analysis, and enforcement of Rover.com's Terms of Service. The Trust & Safety team works with cross-functional stakeholders to recommend process and policy changes that promote safety of the Rover experience as well as overall customer satisfaction.

In this role, you will be working at the center of Rover.com offering exceptional customer service through sensitive situations. You will provide support for Trust & Safety core enforcement issues as well as providing supplemental support to our international team, serving as a point of contact in Seattle for language and policy enforcement. This individual exemplifies Rover values, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is a positive team player.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a customer advocate

  • Demonstrate outstanding attention to detail, ownership, and follow-through

  • Expediently investigate and provide safety resolutions for customer concerns and incidents

  • Educate users on how to maintain safety and security while using Rover responsibly

  • Provide customer support via phone and email

  • De-escalate high touch and/or sensitive safety situations with empathy and action-oriented support

  • Problem solve complex situations

  • Work with distributed teams/leaders to ensure consistent and quality policy enforcement and issue resolution

  • Providing clear and concise responses to time-sensitive matters

  • Provide suggestions for policy and tool improvements

  • Clear communication with distributed teams on shared issues and projects

  • Willing to work weekends and be comfortable with a flexible schedule

  • Maintain confidentiality and good judgement surrounding sensitive information and data

  • Maintain professionalism and calm demeanor while balancing expediency

  • Communicate effectively and manage escalated conversations in a professional manner between customers and third parties

  • Must work weekends and be comfortable with a flexible schedule while the European Market grows

Qualifications:

  • Native or Full professional fluency in French or German is required

  • Prior experience in customer experience role

  • Ability to manage time and prioritize effectively

  • Exceptional communication (phone) and writing (email) skills

  • Great interpersonal skills

  • Flexible in dynamic environment with ability to pivot accordingly to ensure team efficiency and deliverables are met

  • You embrace change

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Worked in the vet tech industry and/or experience in dog behaviors, including aggressive triggers.

  • Prior Trust & Safety experience and/or experience in web or mobile marketplace

  • Previously used Rover.com as a pet parent or dog sitter/walker

  • Experience with startups or fast-paced growth companies

We're looking for a Social Service Specialist 3 to join our team to help build DCYF, working toward the common goal of eliminating child and youth outcome disparities based on race and ethnicity. The vision from the legislature is that "All Washington's children and youth grow up safe and healthy-thriving physically, emotionally, and educationally, nurtured by family and community." The Opportunity: Do you want to help families and communities safely care for their children? You can help reduce child abuse and neglect and improve the lives of children and families. The Department of Children, Youth and Families is seeking a proactive learner and resilient contributor to join our Child Protective Services (CPS) unit in Spokane. You will investigate reports of alleged child abuse or neglect; make referrals to services that help improve conditions that endanger the health, safety and welfare of children; and place children in out-of-home placements, when necessary, to ensure safety. Some of what you'll do: * Meet all casework management directives required by law, policy, and other mandates * Adhere to Solution-Based Casework (SBC) model * Perform advanced level work in the investigation of child abuse and neglect allegations and specialized case management * Investigate allegations, assess complex family situations, and develop plans to protect children either in their own homes or out of home care through the intervention of the court system * Make findings of abuse or neglect based on the results of the investigation. * Focus on understanding and respecting the strengths of families including their heritage, cultural beliefs and values, communication and learning styles * Work independently in devising your own work methods to provide an advanced level of specialized, culturally competent, and solution focused case management * Utilize the Child Health and Education Tracking (CHET) Screens * Provide accurate and timely entries into FamLink What we are looking for: Professionals who have one year of experience as a Social Service Specialist 2 OR Bachelor's degree in social services, human services, behavioral sciences, or an allied field, and three years of paid social service experience performing functions equivalent to a Social Service Specialist 2. OR Master's degree in social services, human services, behavioral sciences, or an allied field and two years of paid social service experience equivalent to a Social Service Specialist 2. A practicum will substitute for the one year of paid social service experience. AND One year of paid social service experience must include assessing risk and safety to children and providing direct family-centered practice services (strengthening and preserving family units). Degrees must be obtained from an accredited institution. In addition to those required qualifications, our ideal applicant will also have some or all of the following: * Current working knowledge of applicable laws, rules and policies on delivery of child protective and child welfare services within Washington State and deliver services accordingly. * Ability to partner effectively with other professionals involved in the preparation of child and family prospective permanency families for transition and permanency outcome. * Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with child caregivers (foster parents, relatives, kin or facility staff).
