What's This Job All About?

The Trust Relationship Associate will assist with the administration of client relationships, performing various activities relative to Greenleaf Trust's role as trustee, agent and/or custodian and coordinate the efforts and workflow of the Client Centric Team while providing comprehensive, pro-active service to clients and co-workers.

What You'll Be Doing

Client Care:

  • Assist various Senior Trust Relationship Officers with the administration of agency/retirement/trust accounts

  • Become an expert with eMoney and use the platform to build-out visual depictions of client estate plans as well as gathering client facts within eMoney (beneficiary designations, ownership details, cost basis, real estate taxes, insurance premiums, etc.)

  • Assist with the preparation of new wealth management plans and work with clients to understand the terms of the estate plans

  • Assist with the preparation of client meeting materials and assembly

  • Under the direction of a Senior Trust Relationship Officer:

  • Provide proactive, high-touch client service

  • Help clients define their needs, goals and

  • Plan and coordinate with outside advisors on client's behalf

Support Greenleaf Team Members:

  • Provide expertise and back-up to other team members

  • Work closely with Client Centric Team members to support client needs

  • Track client communications in CRM system

  • Assist with seminar content development in areas of expertise

  • Provide continuous support to new clients throughout the account transfer process under the direction of Senior Trust Relationship Officers

Fiduciary Excellence:

  • Under the direction of a Senior Trust Relationship Officer:

  • Responsible for communication, disbursements and other tasks on assigned accounts Serve as back-up administrator on select irrevocable accounts

  • Act in a fiduciary capacity to perform activities relative to the administration of trusts under the terms of the governing documents

  • Attend all trainings required of TRO's and TSC's

  • Develop and maintain basis of knowledge in key areas of estate planning, investment management, retirement planning and tax planning

  • Ensure appropriate account documentation is on file

  • Pursue CTFA designation, as appropriate

  • Attend Trust Committee and all other meetings as assigned

Purposeful Growth:

  • Participate in sales/marketing meetings and assist marketing with execution of events

  • Active community participation

  • Generate new opportunities across lines of business through direct contact with existing clients, prospects and referral sources

  • Promote bank trust services, and assist new clients with establishment of new trust accounts

Security Responsibilities

  • Employees are required to comply with all information and physical security policies and procedures

  • Recurring training on information and physical security policies will be provided throughout your period of employment. Participation in these trainings is required.

  • Refer to the Personnel Information Security Guide and the Information Security Policy Manual for further guidance on information security responsibilities and expectations.

What You Need for this Position:

  • Bachelors degree or higher and minimum 3 years experience in estate planning, trust administration, and customer service, or equivalent education and experience.

  • Experience with client support/wealth management/trust administration
