Summary: This position is responsible for supporting the operational process of trust accounts with services and timeliness that meets established client service objectives

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process one-time and recurring payment (including checks, ACHs, wires, and bank transfers) requests entered in Trust Accounting system daily in a timely manner

  • Scan printed checks with the corresponding backup documents, and mail receipts as provided

  • Assist securities team with logging in and scanning proxy and class action requests; provide production of quarterly reporting of proxy votes and class actions to Trust Operations Manager

  • Assist Security team with tracking of Corporate Actions; assemble all documentation of the Corporate Action and scan to document imaging system

  • Assist Security team with tracking and monitoring of Proxy voting, and scanned to document imaging system

  • Enter disbursements in trust accounting system for approval by Real Estate team for processing

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; higher degree preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience in securities operations, especially back office processing, and an understanding of trust accounts preferred

  • Some knowledge of consumer business services and products for high net worth individuals and related business preferred


  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially MS Word and MS Excel required

  • Excellent organizational and writing skills

  • Ability to compose letters/memoranda, coordinate meetings, and assist with client issues

  • Must be detail oriented, with the ability to retain information and learn new things quickly

  • Must have strong work ethics, effective listening and problem-solving skills, and be able to work with minimal supervision

  • Must be able to work well within a team environment

You'll use this understanding to guide and prioritize efforts across the company to reduce the prevalence and impact of these disruptive behaviors.
