This new senior trust investment leadership position requires extensive experience in the management of investment activities and managerial leadership.

What are the key responsibilities?

• Manages the overall investment portfolio activities of the Trust & Investment Services department;

• Manages client portfolios in order to achieve the best possible investment returns for clients and the Bank;

• Conducts annual regulatory reviews on assigned accounts;

• Conducts research and analysis of investments and strategies and leads the development and execution of investment strategies, asset allocation and resolves investment exceptions in a timely fashion;

• Participates in or conducts client meetings and assists in business development activities;

• Manages, leads, mentors and coaches the trust and investment team to achieve departmental and Bank goals and objectives; and,

• Communicates with management and other Bank departments in order to integrate goals and activities within given time frames and within established policy.

Qualifications

Required:

• A college degree in a related field of study;

• Minimum of eight (8) years' experience in related position;

• Specialized trust and investment management education and training;

• Strong people skills, adept at working both cross-functional and intact team environments;

• Demonstrated strong critical thinking, especially navigating between strategic planning and tactical execution;

• Strong verbal and written communication skills;

• Expert knowledge of fiduciary portfolio management concepts, investment securities, and securities markets; and

• Demonstrated leadership skills.

Preferred:

• CFA charter.
