Overview

This position will be responsible for the delivery and pick-up of commercial vehicles for the assigned Service Department(s). This position will provide exceptional customer service and conduct business in a professional manner, including courteous on-time delivery and projecting a professional image.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to safe vehicle operating procedures and legal requirements.

  • Check lot and log out truck locations.

  • Test drive and upsell all jobs completed by Service Department.

  • Pick-up and/or deliver customer vehicles and new and/or PacLease trucks.

  • Deliver parts and equipment to technicians, as well as locate and pick-up parts outside of the facility.

  • Maintain service shop including performing minor repairs and maintaining outside areas.

  • Represent the Company in a professional and courteous manner when interacting with customers.

Requirements

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • 18 years of age.

  • High school graduate, GED, or 1 year of work experience.

  • Valid driver’s license in the state of employment and a qualified MVR abstract.

Desired Job Qualifications

  • 1 year of direct customer-facing sales experience.

  • Valid class B commercial driver's license in the state of employment.

  • Ability to work independently without direct on-site supervision.

  • Basic knowledge off Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

  • Heavy-duty truck aptitude.

  • Strong organization, communication, and phone skills.

Mental Capability Requirements

  • Comprehension: Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral/written instructions and information.

  • Organization: Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology.

  • Reasoning & Decision Making: Ability to apply common sense in performing job.

  • Communication: Ability to understand follow basic instructions and guidelines.

  • Mathematics: No mathematical ability is required.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, extreme heat, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditions. The noise level is normally loud.
