Job Overview NEW PAY RATE Driver Local Delivery Combination Route

  • Racine, WI About the Role Local Combination Drivers are responsible for delivering our products to small and large retailers on a set route. They will manually unload their trucks using a hand dolly or electric pallet jack, build rapport with our customers, and stock shelves and coolers as requested by the customer. No previous experience is required and Drivers will receive hands-on training upon hire. Shift and Schedule Monday through Friday 4:15am or 5:15am until route is finished Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed Local routes Compensation and Benefits Pay beginning at $26.70 per hour Full benefits package available Medical, dental, vision Retirement Paid weekly About You We are looking for a self-motivated and customer service-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. VIEW JOBS 5/12/2022 12:00:00 AM 2022-08-10T00:00 Job Description Under the direction of the Parks Superintendent or designee; this position is responsible for performing manual labor orvarious kinds of calling for physical strength and endurance plus operating equipment for general park maintenance. Essential Duties ESSENTIAL DUTIES: * Cut grass and weeds with hand or power mowers, rakes grass and leaves, trims hedges or shrubbery and grades lawns and park areas. * Picks up and disposed of rubbish, tree branches, food waste and other waste and litter and acts as a dump man in designated dumping areas. * Erects dismantles and paints playground equipment. * Assists in planting, transplanting, pruning and cultivating trees and plants. * Keeps power equipment and hand tools in proper working condition by cleaning, making minor adjustments and reporting problems. * Maintains baseball/softball diamonds and performs other general maintenance of parkbuildings including painting. * Maintains a consistent and reliable attendance record. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: * High School diploma or its Equivalent. * Ability to operate a variety of mechanicalequipment in a safe and efficient manner. * Ability to follow oral or written instructions with a minimum amount of direct supervision. * Ability to work weekends and/or holidays on a rotating basis to help maintain the Parks system. * Ability to communicate effectively and exercise good judgment, courtesy and tact when dealing with the general public. Supplemental Information PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE POSITION: Duties involve the regular and at times sustained performance of heavier physical tasks such as walking over rough or uneven surfaces, bending, stooping, kneeling, leaping, jumping down (at least one foot), standing in place or continual walking and lifting or carrying moderately heavy (20 - 50 pound) items on a consistent basis. May involve the complex operation of gasoline, electric or diesel powered machinery; requiring the manipulation of multiple skills in performing a variety of tasks with the full range of hand and power tools.
