POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Truck Driver your primary function will be to make deliveries to our customer locations. Your responsibilities may include unloading a container at the customer location.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accountable for safe delivery of product to customers

• Complete 1 - 2 deliveries per day depending on business needs

• Ensure compliance with corporate food safety guidelines. This includes training and knowledge of GMP and HACCP/Food Safety guidelines and the application of these guidelines in day-to-day activities.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 21 years of age

• CDL Class A

• Safe Driving Record (MVR and previous employment)

• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT medical requirements

• Forklift and power pallet jack certification required

• At least 1 year experience of tractor trailer driving

• High School Diploma

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT:

• The incumbent will be exposed to an environment with heavy equipment traffic for the planning and supervision of the processes

• Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at a desk or computer terminal

• Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephones, and other office equipment in the course of normal workday

• Walking, stooping, bending, twisting, lifting, pulling, pushing and reaching may be required in completion of job duties
