Truck Dispatch Associate

Position Summary:Are you looking for something fast-paced, with a lot of daily interaction and variety? If yes, our Truck Dispatch Associate opportunity may be just right for you! This position plays a key role within our Trucking Division and supports its daily success. A typical day in this position includes dispatching end dumps, processing driver hand tickets, and communicating with end dump drivers.This is a seasonal position with winters off. Benefits are available and carry year-round.Key Responsibilities:Reasonable accommodations made be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Sign trucks in and out daily. * Monitor incoming loads of material. * Ensure trucks being scaled out are properly loaded. * Organize, review, cost and manage manual trucking tickets. * Communicate daily material production needs to plant personnel. * Work with Trucking Dispatcher to reroute trucks during daily operations as needed. * Remotely Scale Trucks. * Map truck routes as needed. * Quickly and proactively resolve problems that may arise. * Regular communication throughout the day via texting on cell phone. * Answer the phones. * Perform other job-related duties as assigned.Preferred Experience/Education: * Strong communication skills and positive attitude. * Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel. * Skills in time management, organization, and conflict resolution. * Flexibility in work schedule to meet department needs: * Ownership in projects/problems. * Ability to multi-task. * Motivated and reliable. * Strong attention to detail. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities. * Basic math skills. * Knowledge of the seven-country metro area (truck routes).Competencies & Expectations:Live up to our company Core Values:*
