ManTech is currently seeking individuals who have entry to mid-level Navy aviation maintenance experience on rotary aircraft. This position is for our operations at NAS Patuxent River, MD.

General Duties:

The Maintenance Monitor is responsible for supporting Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) Engineering in the execution of their duties. R&M Maintenance Monitors are responsible for collection of Reliability and Maintainability information along with supporting proposed maintenance techniques and principles in the development, design, modification, test and evaluation of the Triton weapons system.

Specific Duties:

  • Participate in the collection, review and processing of accurate maintenance and support of Triton maintenance actions. Interface with maintenance personnel.

  • Observe tests and evaluations of aircraft and ground station systems, equipment, and components. - Compile and process maintenance data utilizing Maintenance Action Forms (MAFs) and Optimized Organizational Maintenance Application (OOMA) in support of Reliability and Maintainability efforts for Triton.

    • Assist the ITT with development of Flight Test Deficiency Reports and disposition process.
  • Review and Provide input to Quality Deficiency Reports (QDRs) and Technical Publication Deficiency Reports (TPDRs), with timely responses to logistics and flight test related data calls.

Clearance Requirements:
Secret Clearance Must have security clearance to start working

Experience Requirements:

  • Previous Reliability & Maintainability Data Collection experience is desired, but not required.

  • Minimum of 3-6 years of organizational level aircraft maintenance experience and formal training in at least one of the following aircraft fields: Avionics/Electrical/airframe and mechanical systems, with a strong technical understanding of aircraft systems

  • Be proficient using PC's and Microsoft Office or equivalent applications

  • Knowledge of multiple aircraft sub-systems such as: airframe, mechanical, electrical, and avionics is highly desired.

Qualifications Requires High School diploma or equivalent with five to six years of related experience. Technical training equivalent to an Associates degree preferred. Degrees High School Diploma or GED Certificate

VIEW JOBS 11/13/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-11T00:00 NAVAIR PMA-262 / Triton Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) program office has a requirement for a Triton UAS Ground Segment Mission Execution Lead assigned to the Triton (MQ-4C) program. The selected candidate will provide ground segment mission execution support to the MQ-4C Triton UAS program for the full system engineering life-cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, integration, test, training and implementation. Specific duties will include reviewing contract deliverables for accuracy, attending design reviews, and consulting with appropriate government Mission Systems IPT personnel. Participate in working groups and interface with contractor and government activities on behalf of the PMA and support evaluation of foreign or non-developmental weapons systems for Australia and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. Provide ground segment mission execution support of various mission systems, such as joint airborne networking and Antisubmarine Warfare (ASW), technically support development of significant alterations to existing systems for enhanced Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) or Measurement and Signature Intelligence (MASINT) capabilities, radar, EO/IR and Link-16 systems. Ensure project schedules and performance requirements are met. Contribute to the development of organization's goals and objectives and provide solutions.
