Trip Director - Events/Hospitality

Morley operates events across the United States and internationally that require individuals experienced in all on-site travel program operations. Work opportunities are project-based as needs arise. While we are not currently adding staff, we are collecting resumes from qualified leads for potential work as we further grow our business.

The ability to travel extensively and for several days to weeks at a time is a must. While our corporate headquarters is in the Great Lakes Bay Region of Michigan, we will review and employ candidates throughout the United States and internationally.

Trip Director Responsibilities

  • Serve as an on-site representative for travel programs, providing directions and assistance for participants, coordinating and directing ground arrangements, and facilitating all travel-related activities during program operation.

  • Interact courteously, efficiently and professionally with a wide variety of client personalities on location.

  • Meet and greet arriving participants at destination airports or venues.

  • Assist with ground transportation at destination as required.

  • Coordinate hotel check-in, registration packets and other materials as required.

  • Oversee all scheduled program functions including food functions, activities, meetings, displays and special events to ensure prompt and timely execution.

  • Accommodate program participants' needs to the best of his/her ability from time of first face-to-face contact until departure.

Trip Director Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry

  • Ability to travel extensively (100% of the time)

  • Must be a positive self-starter and possess a strong work ethic, an ability to meet deadlines, organizational skills, excellent interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail

  • Computer, online resource navigation and Microsoft Office proficiency

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully perform in a fast-paced work environment and to work well within a team and independently

  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills, process-oriented results and professional demeanor
