We are currently searching for a Triage Clinical Assistant at our OrthoCarolina Boone office location.
The Triage Clinical Assistant is responsible for providing and coordinating orthopedic patient care through taking calls following approve telephone guidelines which involves finding, providing information and education, identifying resources, consultations, referral and follow-up activities. The role may also participate in patient education, communicating effectively with others, and assisting the physician/mid-level provider in the delivery of patient care.
Additional responsibilities as a Clinical Assistant include:
Updating clinical notes in electronic medical systems
Completing phone triage
Casting and bracing
Performing routine office procedures
Providing patient education

Additional requirements as a Clinical Assistant include:
Graduate of an accredited program for medical assistants, nursing or a college degree in a related field
Current certification or registration as a Medical Assistant, current nursing license, ATC Board certification
2 -3 years of clinical assistant experience preferred
