As a Tree Care Account Manager, you enjoy being part of a landscaping team where you are able to work outdoors and in all weather conditions. You manage all aspects of multiple tree care projects including the scheduling of labor, ordering of materials, and completing documentation. For each phase of a job, you ensure the client, suppliers, and company staff understands the quality and schedule requirements. And in an after-hours emergency, our clients know they can depend on you.

Your excellent leadership skills serve you as you train, coach, and complete follow-up on staff as required. While overseeing the performance of specialized pruning and takedowns, installations of cabling and bracing, and the operating of equipment, you ensure that each staff member is complying with all safety procedures and meeting client expectations. You also inspect diverse species of trees for damage from insects, injury, and disease. Your expertise allows you to recommend solutions regarding species selection and site location and address organic and environmental hazards associated with tree trimming.

Although you get to spend a large portion of your time outside in wonderful landscapes, there is paperwork that needs to be completed. Your attention to detail assists you in creating invoices, timecards, safety documents, and all job documentation in addition to securing all local safety permits and right of way considerations. Your hard work allows us to continue to complete landscaping projects that serve our clients.


  • At least 3 years of professional tree climbing, tree trimming, or tree care management or sales experience

  • Possess a valid class "C" California driver's license

  • Possess a current ISA Certified Arborist credential

  • Ability to complete CPR certification

  • Proficiency in both written and verbal English is required, Spanish is a plus!

  • Knowledge of arboriculture, tree identification, tree wounding/pruning, tree removal, and tree climbing procedures

  • Knowledge of safe work practices involving chainsaws, chippers, truck buckets, etc.

  • Leadership abilities

  • Ability to move/lift/carry up to 50lbs

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test

Within your first month on the job, you will need to complete the Basic Equipment Training program and earn your Certified Treecare Safety Professional (CTSP) within the first year.
