Position Summary

As a Treatment Plan Coordinator with an Aspen Dental-branded practice, you'll be responsible for providing new and existing patients expert consultations by further explaining the Doctors' comprehensive treatment plan, insurance coverage and payment options to help patients understand how Aspen Dental can help get them out of pain and back on the road to health. As a team member with Aspen Dental, you'll be helping to break down the barriers to better care, better smiles and better lives.

Aspen Dental-branded practices are independently owned and operated by licensed dentists. The practices receive non-clinical business support services from Aspen Dental Management, Inc., a dental support organization.

Responsibilities

  • Consultations
  • Accept hand-off from the Doctor and acknowledge comments and/or concerns communicated by the Doctor and patient to ensure patient says yes to care; review the Patient Verification Form for existing patients; execute patient consults to ensure patients understand Doctor's prescribed treatment plan; conduct consults according to company policies; enter and update patient treatment plans at the direction of the treating Doctor using the company operational system.
  • Business Operations
  • Partner with Practice Manager and Doctors to optimize patient schedule and flow; ensure patients are scheduled according to Doctor's scheduling preferences; partner with the organization's practice support center to appoint patients with a sense of urgency, ensuring access for walk-in and emergency patients; update treatment plan information in company system at the direction of the treating Doctor; collect and post patient payments.
  • Patient Advocacy
  • Educate patients regarding insurance benefits and affordable payment options including third-party lending; partner with the Doctor and patient to facilitate the patient completing the Doctor's prescribed treatment plan; uncover and address patient's barriers for completing treatment; alert the Doctor when patient has clinical questions; follow-up with patients during subsequent visits to schedule open treatment.
  • Administrative Support
  • Assist in maintaining schedule audits; monitor and take action on credit and AR reports; assist with IVF completion and patient checkout.

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Education level: high school or equivalent

  • Job related/industry experience: none

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office applications and company operational systems

  • Physical requirements: mostly walking, talking, standing, and updating information in computer systems

Our Quality Coordinators monitor all quality activities on the project and ensures compliance with the Contractor Quality Control Plan (CQCP) and the Quality Implementation Plan (QIP). Job Responsibilities: * Maintain the Quality Control Plan(s) ( QCP ) * Assure that the project is constructed in accordance with the Request for Proposal ( RFP ), Contract Documents and Submittals * Implement and manage the Three Phases of Control for each Definable Feature of Work * Conduct Preparatory Meetings required. Produce the Meeting Agenda and Meeting Minutes * Conduct and / or coordinate Initial Phase and Follow Up Phase Observations * Maintain an Inspections and Testing Log and indicate corrective action necessary, corrective action taken, and date corrective action * Review reports of all tests required by the RFP, Contract Documents and Submittals * Coordinate with the Project Management and Project Supervision the corrective actions of any work not in conformance with the RFP, Contract Documents and Submittals * Maintain a Rework Log and indicate corrective action necessary, corrective action taken, and date corrective action taken * Produce, sign and submit the Quality Daily Report * Verify all materials and equipment before installation to assure conformity with the RFP, Contract Documents and Submittals. * Review submittals for conformity to RFP and Contract Documents. Insure submittals have been reviewed and approved by the applicable Design Discipline(s) prior to the work proceeding. * Conduct the meetings required by the RFP and QCP. Produce the Meeting Agenda and Meeting Minutes. * Participates in the Project Completion Conference and Subcontractor Completion Conferences. * Assists in creating and monitoring Punch Lists and assists in the verification that all items are completed. Education/Experience * High school diploma or equivalent with 10 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience. * Bachelor's degree to be from an accredited university in architecture, engineering, construction management or other degree related to the AEC profession. * Experience in technical design and/or construction expertise and background in Quality. Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications * Ability to read and effectively interpret building construction documentation and associated reports. * Ability to interface with client's Quality personnel and provide direction to ensure compliance with testing, observation procedures and results * Good interpersonal/communication skills * Good written and verbal communication * Good organizational skills to handle/prioritize multiple tasks * Strong attention to detail and follow-up * Computer skills: Ability to work with a laptop, iPad, and mobile devices. Ability to access project information remotely when working outside the office * Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to utilize project management controls system software and other applicable construction technologies.
