The TS FX Business Development Manager will be directly responsible for accelerating growth of the regional and cross-regional TS FX P&L through a full range of sales activities:

  • Joint planning with Treasury Services Sales, GCB Bankers and FX Marketers to ensure aligned positioning for clients

  • Prospecting of clients that do not use the TS FX solution suite

  • Mining the existing TS portfolio for business development opportunities

  • Managing attrition, pursuing portfolio growth with existing clients as well as generating new business

The Client Manager will be part of a larger global team that develops business across regions as well as within the region

This role requires deep understanding of the large corporate space as well as the use of FX through treasury services type solutions. Knowledge of more advanced FX solutions, e.g. hedging, is appreciated. This is an ideal role for someone who wants to work with a dynamic, markets-oriented product set and directly drive growth of a key strategic solution for JPMorgan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategy for growing the TS FX North America P&L

  • Pipeline management - target list development, execution from pre-sales to winning mandates and closing deals, senior management reporting

  • Client presentations and presales activities - Coordinate with TS Sales, JPM Corporate Bankers and Investment Banking FX Sales for proactive and targeted client calling; develop and present client relevant and thoughtful solution presentations

  • Responsible for meeting P&L and new business targets

  • Develop compelling segment specific value propositions and proposals that will also drive marketing efforts

  • Close coordination with TS sales, product management and RFP team to coordinate RFP responses and pricing decisions

  • Provide continuous feedback to Product teams of emerging trends in the market and client needs for product evolution


  • BA or BS from a top-tier program or equivalent graduate level education preferred

  • Strong knowledge of transaction banking, (TS) FX, cross-border payments and Channels

  • Strong product oriented sales experience and acumen. Excellent client facing skills.

  • Able to work under direct portfolio growth targets, in a competitive environment

  • Ability to develop clear sales and marketing strategies and execute against them

  • Exceptional writing, verbal communication and client facing skills

  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships with key internal partners - sales, product management, client service, and Global Bankers

The Role The Securities Services Product Development team is responsible for the delivery of change management across Securities Services covering investment planning, program management disciplines and controls, requirements definition and client change. Our aim is to position J.P. Morgan as 'best in class' with clients and prospects. The Product Development Team also maintains and expands subject matter expertise, providing thought leadership in the Global Custody product space. This position will be located in New York, it is aligned to Custody Cash, Liquidity and FX with focus on advancing our strategic platform agenda in order to help close product gaps and rapidly adapt to business and regulatory change. Within the Cash, FX & Liquidity group, the role will focus on the change portfolio for aspects of core cash processing and liquidity products, including money market fund sweeps, cash concentration and pooling. This position will play a key role in the defining the change agenda, working with Product Management and Technology partners. Key Responsibilities * Delivering strategic and tactical Custody Cash and Liquidity Investment Initiative programmes and projects through the full project life cycle (Requirements, design, build, test, implement) * Planning initiative delivery timeframes, refining budgetary requirements and ensuring completion of projects and key milestones within agreed budget and timeframes * Ensuring project implementation and closure disciplines are followed * Refining and implementing suitable governance framework to ensure stakeholders, sponsors and impacted parties receive relevant and timely communication within required standards. * Working with functional partners including Product Management, Client Services, Network Management and other Operational areas to deliver agreed solutions * Planning and coordinating test phases as required, ensuring success criteria clearly defined and clearly met at test conclusion * Timely escalation to Stream Lead and Implementation Manager of project risks and issues * Assessing change against the strategic agenda and make recommendations for interim solutions where applicable * Presentation of project objectives, progress and benefits to varied audiences including senior management, technology and functional partners * Assist in ensuring risks & issues are escalated appropriately within the C&FS change governance structures. * Qualifications The successful candidate will ideally have direct cash and liquidity experience and have worked in a Cash or Global Custody environment.
