Wells Fargo Treasury Payments technology services delivers industry leading commercial payment movement services related to cash management and treasury management business. Our client base includes small, medium and large cap customers.
As the Platform lead for Treasury Merchants and Payments Services technology (TMPS), you will be responsible for the full end-to-end operational management of a large portfolio within the organization. You will also be required to help us attain our safety and soundness of the portfolio including vulnerability, patching, end of life and resiliency.
The goal of our platforms is to provide high-quality, standardized, innovative solutions to serve our core business needs in a consistent and efficient way. The incumbent will lead a squad of engineers and support personnel in the Wells Fargo Platform and Application support team partnering with development teams, product owners, scrum masters, and with other technology centers of excellence. The Platform manager for TMPS is responsible for leading engineers who are responsible for new solutions to improve platform and application stability, including ensuring all availability, architecture, quality, security, support and risk/compliance standards are met for applications in the treasury portfolio including commercial wires support and stability.
The Platform team has knowledge of the environments, software, function, performance, availability, capacity and data. We need a diverse group of people with different experience levels to support the transformation, enrichment and timely availability of data assets to business and technical application teams across the enterprise.
Operational sustainment and reduce risks in the eco-system by aggressively pursuing safety and soundness type of actions not limited to vulnerability, patching, end of life and resiliency
Oversight of all Production, BCP & UAT support activities for the Core Data Service platform and application support for applications, middleware, data and partner interfaces
Provides leadership and accountability through a commitment to business partner satisfaction and incident/request resolution and fulfillment.
Drives operational management via EACO/Incident response, communication and tracking along with root cause identification and closure.
Manage and coordinate all Production change requests and release management.
Provides operational continuity through the development, management, measurement, analysis and reporting of key service-level metrics as required by management
Manages continuous services improvements and drives innovation to ensure SLAs and OLAs for the critical business processes, applications and partner interfaces
Regular presentation of Production performance and incident, root cause and preventative actions, and trend analysis to technical and business Management teams.
Review and provide feedback/approval for all project related development and changes- Permit to deploy
Maintain and update all Production related documentation (e.g. game plans, run books, procedures, processes).
Ensure effective Production systems monitoring, alarming and notification response/maintenance.
Facilitate regular capacity planning reviews.
Adherence to corporate standards, including Audit, Compliance, Security and risk Management.
Budget and cost management of resources, including managing of overtime and time-off.
Lead the coordination, implementation, execution and continuous improvement and maturity of junior engineers
Minimize overall production risks while maximizing team's productivity.

10+ years in a technical management role in an ITIL environment, production support, leading a team of engineers, managing projects, tasks, priorities, budgets and schedules.
5+ Years in supporting commercial wires, Information reporting, receivables and payments domain.
Ability to demonstrate establish a support team and roll up sleeve for critical issues like wires, desktop deposits.
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively and build relationships with a variety of contacts throughout EIT and ECIO technology including mid-level managers and senior technology partners.
Ability to demonstrate road map, strategy and transform organizational goals to match with enterprise
Highly motivated self-starter who solves problems with a business-centric view
Strong knowledge and use of development, methodologies, standards and procedures
Excellent communication and presentation skills, abilities to articulate technical solutions to both technical and business audiences
Ability to manage 40 plus team members.
24X7 on-call support in a management oversight role
Experience with Enterprise Technology Root Cause and Incident Management process including specific tools (EACO, PAC2000, and Everbridge).
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
