Treasury Services Specialist is primarily responsible for assignments relating Treasury Management Sales and client support. The Treasury Services Specialist delivers exemplary customer service to both internal and external customers and provides support for a variety of complex customer/department requests and issues on a daily basis.


  • Participates in the daily workflow related to ACH processing, including new enrollments and handling of transmission files, rejects, and Reg E disputes monitoring

  • Provide Treasury Management/Business Banking support to Commercial customers via telephone. Support the sales efforts of the department by answering questions for internal and external customers via telephone, email and fax.

  • Perform necessary account maintenance and fulfillment as requested by the Treasury Management Sales staff and Management.

  • General understanding of financial banking principles. Knowledge of Treasury Management Products required. Knowledge of personal computer functions, Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Problem solving, logic and basic mathematical computation skills.

  • Responsible for the implementation and fulfillment of all Treasury Management Services

  • customer training and assigned projects.

  • Responsible for assisting customers regarding Treasury Management services. Including educating internal and external customers on product functionality and use, security protocol, questions and research of general banking and Treasury Services..

  • Accurate and timely filing of documentation as required to support client implementation and service delivery.

  • Keeps management informed of all problems or issues associated with Treasury Services. Reviews all Online Banking and Treasury Management Product updates to be current and knowledgeable regarding the products and services offered. Identifies cross-sell opportunities for new and existing clients and refers to Treasury Management Sales.

  • Responsible for reporting system inconsistencies to management and escalate issues timely and appropriately

Skills / Requirements

  • A candidate with knowledge of Electronic Banking Services

  • A professional self-starter who has the ability to work independently - yet demonstrates teamwork in facilitating workflow

  • Someone who understands how to prioritize effectively and remains both focused and organized when faced with the pressure of continuous deadlines and requests

  • An excellent communicator who has above average written and verbal communication skills; a person who pays continuous, high-level attention to detail and always presents a professional, business-like manner

  • Minimum 2 or more years of previous work experience in a financial institution or related industry

  • Must have strong proficiency in various PC applications, including MS Office Suite

  • Experience with ACH payments, ATMs and/or debit card payments/disputes

  • Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification a plus

  • Attention to detail with ability to self-motivate and prioritize tasks

  • Ability to learn and comprehend new system processes

  • Strong time management skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing to all levels of responsibility

  • Team player

  • Reliability, flexibility, professional etiquette and sound judgment are important

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Familiarity with state and federal banking regulations

  • General understanding of financial banking principles. Knowledge of Treasury Management

  • Products desired. Knowledge of personal computer functions, Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
