Responsible for onboarding and maintaining national account relationships, primarily in the payments area, but may also include the areas of deposits, merchant services, and cash management. Focuses on customer retention by resolving problems quickly, displaying a courteous and helpful demeanor and identifying needs. Meets production standards as determined by immediate supervisor. Is knowledgeable of the businesses' within the market. Conducts outbound calling efforts and identifies sales opportunities through the acquisition of new customers and deepening current relationships through cross sells. Education: Bachelor's Degree in business or related field.
Licenses/Certifications: Certified Treasury Professional designation preferred. Certification must be achieved within 12 months of hire.
Experience: Seven or more years of banking experience to include cash management, Treasury Management, commercial or business banking sales or related experience. Related banking programs/education or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Assists the Payments Team with the onboarding and maintaining of national account relationships.
Engage in business development efforts that include enhancing existing relationships and developing new relationships through superior customer service. (Clients and prospects will generally be larger and more sophisticated than those normally associated with the branch network).
Develops and maintains profitable and quality cash management relationships with customers.
Prepares deposit proposals in accordance with Sutton Bank guidelines.
Sales prospecting, product pricing and structuring, to include, preparing documents for the onboarding of new clients, customer proposals and servicing, as well as, updates depository documents as needed, to include cash management agreements.
Completes ongoing service charge account reviews, as necessary.
Perform an annual relationship review for commercial cash management clients.
Assists in the development and delivery of a marketing plan.
Carries out market, portfolio, and deposit strategies while identifying cross-sell opportunities for other lines of business through a strong partnership with Business Bankers and the Payments Group.
Meets individual sales goals for deposits, business service charges, and other fee income line items as specified.
Reviews and provides input on depository client contracts and other documents as necessary.
Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements by keeping up-to-date on banking laws and regulations. Maintains strong industry knowledge to ensure competitiveness.
Supervise Treasury Management employee(s) within the banking platform, ensuring they are trained, motivated and supported to achieve goals.
Respond to and resolve client inquiries and issues with the help of the Treasury Management Team.
Act as a reference for internal/partner inquiries about the Bank's treasury management services without reliance on Product Management for information. Maintain an in-depth working knowledge of all treasury management products and services and present client demonstrations as necessary.
Develops and maintains referral networks with industry contacts and centers of influence.
