Responsible for the management and overall coordination, status reporting and stability of a variety of enterprise wide projects. Establishes and implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.
Responsible for assembling project plans, teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis. Identifies resource needs, performs quality reviews, accesses and mitigates risk. Escalates functional quality and timeline issues appropriately.
Responsible for tracking costs, key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers. Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed. Designs, implements, evaluates and audits project management processes and templates.
May work closely with internal departments and outside vendors to ensure project completion. Other duties as assigned.
Requires a Bachelors in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or related degree and 4+ years experience in project management processes, methodologies and tools, resource and changes management practices and techniques or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
Extensive knowledge of project management, including methodologies, processes, tools, scope management, financial tracking, scheduling and resource management. Working experience in solution identification and assessment, vendor selection, and creation of business and financial cases. Must have solid leadership, coaching, interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to identify, analyze and resolve issues. Ability to meet deadlines, schedules and budgeted costs. Strong negotiation and facilitation abilities. Working knowledge of departmental specific processes, computer applications or other project related knowledge.
