About The Job

Sandy Spring Bank is currently recruiting a Treasury Management Client Consultant and Product Manager in the Treasury Management Department. If you are the chosen candidate you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for the assigned Treasury Management services and developing and implementing the subsequent tactical plans. This includes managing the growth, development, profitability, quality and distribution of the products. You will enhance existing products and services; develop new products based on client needs and industry trends in order to maximize profitability, increase market share with desired market segments according to the Commercial Bank's strategic plan. You will train bank staff about Treasury Management products, assisting sales and staff consulting with high profile clients and prospects, providing technical support of clients in the use of bank applications and resolving product issues. The position interacts with vendors, clients, prospects, consultants, bank peers, industry experts and industry forums to evaluate market trends and develop new products and services.

4-year College Degree in business-related field or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 years' experience in bank products and related regulatory requirements. Strong knowledge of commercial deposit and loan products, as well as knowledge of cash management products and the bank's market.
High level of analysis, interpretation and evaluation ability to effectively meet the Bank's strategic and financial goals as well as the ability to interpret complex data, prepare reports and summarize conclusions with advanced problem solving skills.
Management of projects performed within and outside the department. Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
Decision making, both within and outside the framework of practices, policies and/or precedent. Must be able to use good judgement and make independent decisions for the overall welfare of the organization.
Proficiency in personal computer applications including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
