Job Summary

AtHome Group is seeking a highly motivated Insurance Specialist to join the

Company's Risk Management Team. This individualwill have a high degree of responsibility and must be capable and comfortableworking independently in a fast-paced environment while interacting with all levelsof leadership within the Company. Must be a problem solver that drivesevery outcome to a speedy resolution. This role requires strong collaboration, creativity,the ability to multi-task, communicate, make decisions, and possess the resolveto always do the right thing.

Thisindividual is responsible for property, worker's compensation, generalliability, and auto claims - including but not limited to reporting, claimsmanagement and reserve reviews. This role is responsible for ensuring compliancewith the OSHA recordkeeping standard for all store locations, as well as, for variousstates' workers' compensation requirements/regulations. In addition, the Insurance Specialist is requiredto follow up on all safety and investigation matters, claims maintenance/settlements,legal reviews, and accident investigations in accordance with company policies andprocedures. As a key member of the Risk Management team, the InsuranceSpecialist will report to the Claims Manager and will work closely with theentire Insurance and Treasury team, along with other groups in the Company,including but not limited to Human Resources, Legal, Facilities, and the TeamMember Care Center. This position willalso serve as a key resource for the Stores and liaison with Insurance Carriersto manage claims accordingly. The Insurance Specialist will be the pointof contact for all Certificates of Insurance and will work closely with the

Treasurer on Insurance policy placements. This individual will partner with the

Claims Manager and Treasury Team and be responsible for working collaborativelyto ensure best in class Claims and Insurance service.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • File and manage GeneralLiability and Workers' Compensation claims for all locations in multiple states

  • Work directly with

Insurance Adjusters, Attorneys, and Store Managers to achieve favorable claim outcomes

  • Provide supportto Store Management and Insurance Adjusters for claim investigations and protocol

  • Manage WC claims'action plans to close claims timely, maintain communications with the storesand adjusters, assist stores with return-to-work program efforts, and bona fidejob offer letters

  • Maintain OSHA RecordableInjuries in the OSHA Logs, posting, and electronic reporting for all storelocations

  • Assist with

Property Claims

  • Assist with

Litigated Claims

  • Monitor and database

Incident trends and review Loss Run Reports

  • ProcessCertificates of Insurance

  • Assist with

Insurance Renewals

  • Perform Special Projectsas Needed

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degreein Business, Risk Management and Insurance or at least seven years equivalentwork experience

  • Heavy RiskManagement and Insurance experience required

  • Workers' Compensation experience for all states California a plus

  • Strong understanding of claim processes, values,and terminology

  • Ability to engage with attorneys, adjusters, andall levels of operations

  • Must be detail oriented and able to work independently in a fast-pacedenvironment

  • Deadline driven, organized individual able to handlemultiple tasks while working independently or as part of a team

  • Excellent analytical and proven problem-solving skills

  • A positive and friendly demeanor with a can-doattitude

  • Microsoft Office required: advanced Excel knowledge preferred

Initially the role will contribute to the deployment of new tools and processes for the organization and will manage the ongoing process improvements to gain efficiency. Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain local (26 countries) and consolidated 13-week rolling cash forecast by working with business partners to establish a process and assist them with submitting their information to the forecast. * Manage global cash positions to ensure sufficient funding is available in local entities for based on their respective cash forecasts. * Maintain bank documentation and provide corporate information from various entities required by banks as needed. * Execute banking transactions as required. * Act as an administrator on the company's bank portal. * Manage customer credit process, including policy development, with a focus on managing the company's risk. * Perform ad hoc and regularly scheduled customer credit analyses to establish / maintain credit limits. * Coordinate the annual insurance renewal, liaising with corporate and local brokers as well as internal stakeholders. * Facilitate annual audits of select insurance policies. * Assist in development and maintenance of Treasury policies.
