The QRM Operations group within Corporate Treasury is looking for a self-starter and highly motivated individual with significant analytic and interpersonal skills to support the development and testing of our Interest Rate and Liquidity Risk Models. This position will support the modeling of the Production Analytics, Corporate Asset/Liability Management (ALM), and Liquidity Reporting & Analytics (LAR) groups all within Corporate Finance at Wells Fargo.
The ALM Group performs qualitative and quantitative analysis of the company's balance sheet behavior and has the primary responsibility of measuring interest rate risk and designing risk management strategies that align with Wells Fargo's risk tolerance. The LAR Group is responsible for analysis and management of liquidity risk across the enterprise and all related reporting to WFC Senior Management and the Board of Directors. This position provides a unique opportunity to gain a thorough understanding of Wells Fargo's balance sheet and add value to production processes, interest rate risk, and liquidity risk management practices.
A BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Reporting
Ability to successfully operate in a complex and matrixed environment
A Masters of Business Administration (MBA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or comparable professional designation
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of financial analysis, forecasting and analyzing interest income and balance sheet behavior
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Ability to prepare presentations, management reporting, and statistical analysis
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
1+ year of SQL or SAS experience
