Job Description:

The System Treasury Director/Chief Investment Officer is responsible for the strategic direction and overall administration of the System's treasury functions. The individual is responsible for

a team overseeing the cash management, banking relationships, debt and alternative financing, and investment of retirement plan and assets for the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance or related field.

Preferred/Optional: Master's degree in healthcare management, business administration, accounting, finance, or related field.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum Required: Ten years of management experience, with five years in treasury services. Proven working knowledge of tax exempt capital markets and banking industry

rules and regulations. Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred/Optional: Ten year's treasury management experience in a health care setting.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position, which must be maintained in good standing:

Preferred/Optional: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
