About the Team: ZF Treasury Back Office is responsible for confirming and in-time processing of Treasury transactions and ensures the accurate application of cash and intercompany flows. You will work within a global corporate team but be responsible primarily for transactions within North America. This is a fast-paced, busy role with a lot of variety to go with the daily routine, especially when it comes to exception handling and trouble shooting. This job calls for a candidate who is excited to take responsibility for high-volume transactions as well as detail-oriented analysis in a diverse team and company.

What you can look forward to as a Treasury Back Office Analyst:

Counterparty confirmation process:

  • Confirm the correctness of all treasury transaction details recorded by the Front Office with counterparties, with a particular focus on foreign exchange transactions.

  • Verify the accuracy of settlement instructions and transaction coding, take corrective action in case of discrepancies.

Payment processing:

  • Set up repetitive payment instructions for treasury transactions, including commercial foreign currency payments.

  • Release commercial foreign currency payments to ensure timely and accurate settlements.

  • Support payment related queries of subsidiaries and Shared service teams.

  • Investigation and processing of returned payments with internal and external counterparties.

Bank charges and in-house bank:

  • Review bank charges associated with treasury transactions to ensure accuracy.

  • Maintain complete and accurate records of all transactions within the In-house bank system.

Cash confirmations and data collection:

  • Complete cash confirmations as required by internal and external audits.

  • Assist in collecting data for compliance and internal audit purposes.

Process improvement and automation:

  • Collaborate with the Treasury team to identify opportunities for process improvement.

  • Support digital transformation initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and accuracy.

Your profile as a Treasury Back Office Analyst:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (including internships and co-ops)

  • Demonstrated knowledge of accounting and/or treasury concepts

  • Strong interest in financial markets and treasury operations

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated work ethic and personal integrity

  • Solid mathematical aptitude

  • Curiosity about and aptitude for treasury automation tools and technologies

  • SAP is a plus
