As our Treasury Analyst, you will primarily be responsible for maintaining daily cash management and cash handling, journal entry posting, FX payments, ongoing bank relationships and providing administrative support to the Armstrong Foundation.

What you'll be doing

  • Approve wire requests up to $15,000,000 and processes Treasury invoices.

  • Process daily cash and cash reconciliations and subsequent journal entry postings; assists with miscellaneous check deposits.

  • Provide continuing guidance on actions required to stay compliant with new regulatory changes (FATCA/Dodd-Frank).

  • Partner with outside counsel to negotiate new ISDA agreements or amend existing agreements as needed.

  • Assist Tax Department with payments and annual reporting.

  • Process weekly FX transactions and assists with month-end FX rate analysis.

  • Complete monthly securitization facility reporting and annual audit.

  • Analyze and report on monthly bank and service fees.

  • Administer and monitor monthly inter-company netting.

  • Assist Joint Venture with cash transactions, cash flow and analysis.

  • Liaison with outside accounting firm for Armstrong Foundation.

  • Manage Armstrong Foundation funding levels in checking account and money-market funds.

  • Assist with M&A for banking, check services and user administration.

  • Act as bank administrator for users, audit review and service modifications.

What will make you successful

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of finance/accounting work experience Very detail oriented with a need for accuracy

  • Ability to comprehend cash movement and post journal entries

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in an independent environment

  • Strong process improvement orientation

  • MS Office Proficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in derivative regulatory work including Dodd Frank preferred but not required

  • Experience with Bloomberg and accounting software such as Hyperion and SAP a plus

Position summary: The Spacecraft Thermal/Structural Analyst will work collaboratively with small group of engineers and technicians to meet the thermal and mechanical needs of our customers in the space market. Projects will range from trade studies early in the design process to detailed system-level thermal analysis. The Spacecraft Thermal/Structural Analyst will provide technical expertise on new & emerging thermal technologies that will be used on spacecraft from cubesats in Low-Earth Orbit (LEO), communications satellites in Geosynchronous Orbit (GEO), to scientific missions exploring distant celestial bodies. This person will provide expertise on how to model and implement these thermal control systems in a variety of common vehicles/configurations. Additionally, they will work closely with product development and manufacturing engineers to transition the designs to prototype and flight hardware builds. Responsibilities may include: * Performing thermal/mechanical design from the component to system level on state-of-the-art spacecraft * Collaborate with other engineering disciplines * Reviewing and releasing technical documents * Mentor junior engineers and cross-train other engineering disciplines * Provide feedback regarding impacts of possible cost and/ or schedule changes The Spacecraft Thermal/Structural Analyst may support all aspects of a project throughout its life cycle, including concept generation, sales support, project management, customer interaction, and budget control. At any given time, the Spacecraft Thermal/Structural Analyst may be responsible for the success of multiple projects. Quite frequently, they are also responsible for working with the R&D department to understand the latest technologies and the manufacturing department to transition the product design into production. This person will also frequently provide insight on complex challenges for adjacent spacecraft thermal control programs for internal personnel or customers in the industry. Performance Metrics Include * Technical Success * On Time and High-Quality Delivery, and Customer Satisfaction * Revenue and Profit on assigned projects Minimum requirements include: * B.S. or M.S. degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering * Must meet definition of US person due to ITAR requirements * Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience * Excellent understanding of heat transfer principles * Experience working on thermal design and troubleshooting efforts * Proven knowledge of spacecraft mission design and associated subsystems is strongly preferred * Proficiency in using commercial CAD, FEA and CFD software, thermal desktop strongly preferred * Good verbal and written skills.
