Position Title: Treasury Analyst

Starting Salary: $65,000
Position Summary:
Responsible for managing and analyzing the district's financial activity. This includes managing cash flow, income, liability obligations, and assets. Performs the duties required to ensure an efficient banking structure to support operations by overseeing operational and strategic projects. The Analyst will support all aspects of Treasury Operations activities. This includes assisting with the development of cash management banking solutions for and supporting the cash forecasting process.
Essential Functions:
Work with the district's bank to open accounts for schools; prepare documents, correspond with bank and school personnel
Utilize the online banking system for the district's primary accounts, downloading check files from the bank and loading them into the district's financial system
Perform functions necessary to maintain the banking module within the district's financial system
Assist with investing district funds
Assist with daily bank transfers and wires for account balancing
Perform as a backup for Accounts Receivable Clerk/Cashier
Assist with the preparation of audit schedules
Reconcile daily bank activity to the general ledger
Prepare billings for amounts owed to the district
Assist with monthly tax payments for the district
Research and review revenue accounts in response to internal inquiries
Prepare monthly journal entries
Prepare and send monthly investment statements
Prepare vouchers for miscellaneous expenditures
Assist with RFP for banking services
Support cash forecasting process
Evaluate new banking products and services
Ensure accurate maintenance of bank account, balance, bank/Treasury systems and bank cost information
Assist with department filing
Support Standby Letters of Credit and bank guarantees requirements
Perform other related duties or projects as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and interpersonal skills
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines

Must be physically able to operate a motor vehicle
Must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, and pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body

Work is routinely performed in a typical interior/office environment
Very limited or no exposure to physical risk
