We are currently seeking a Treasury Accountant who will be responsible for leading accounting and audit efforts within the Treasury department, as well as performing a variety of other treasury tasks. The selected candidate must be able to solve problems quickly, have a strong attention to detail, and collaborate with other corporate departments and finance personnel at our operating entities. This role will report to the Treasury Director.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
To include, but not limited to the following:
Accounting: Prepare and post journal entries for daily banking transactions, coordinating with other departments and operating companies to ensure appropriate coding. Research banking-related accounting issues, including incorrect or missed postings, and correct as needed.
Month-End Close: Assist with the month-end close process by posting journal entries, performing bank account reconciliations, and reconciling cash, debt, and derivatives accounts in the financial consolidation system.
Audit Support: Adhere to audit standards, including SOx controls, by preparing supporting documentation, responding to questions from auditors, and making process improvement recommendations. Maintain the global bank account listing and develop a new bank account signers directory. Ensure updates to both follow internal compliance standards.
Payments: Support operating companies by reviewing lockbox exceptions and maintaining the lockbox payee name list to ensure customer payments are properly recorded. Recommend ways to drive improved cash flow through faster collections and the elimination of manual check processing.
Systems: Administer access and training to banking and treasury systems, including CashPro, Elavon/Converge, Concur, and Coupa. Perform monthly user access controls for audit purposes. Research and implement solutions that automate manual processes.
Special Projects: Other ad hoc projects as assigned, including supporting the Unclaimed Property project.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or related field
3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in an accounting or treasury role
Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Strong organization skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work with a sense of ownership and accountability
Multi-tasking capabilities, with the ability to balance daily tasks with long-term projects

This role will be eligible for hybrid work flexibility based out of our New Brighton office. The pay range is $60,500 - $90,200, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for annual bonus and profit sharing based on company performance in addition to other benefits that support the total well-being of you and your family.
