Travelling Dietary Manager (Certified Dietary Manager)

The Travelling Dietary Manager will serve as Interim Dietary Manager (Certified Dietary Manager) at assigned location in the state as needed (as vacancies occur). Will direct the Dietary Department in accordance with current applicable Federal, State and local standards, guidelines and regulations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for planning, organizing and developing the overall operation of the Dietary Department (as assigned) in Region in accordance with current applicable Federal, State and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
• Provide education to assigned facility staff to ensure quality dining experience and cleanliness.
• Establish and maintain applicable food safety protocols/preventive maintenance protocols to ensure compliance with Company and Federal, State and local regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be a Certified Dietary Manager, long term care experience required
• Must have ServSafe Certification (manager) or equivalent
• Minimum of five+ years of experience in a supervisory capacity in a skilled nursing facility or other related medical facility, multi site experience preferred
• Training in cost control, food management, diet therapy, etc.
• Must maintain current licensure as required by law
• Any combination of experience and training which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities.

Must be willing/able to travel via personal automobile within the state. Overnight travel will be required.
