Department

• Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum. Must be willing to float to M/S and ED as needed and trained.

Compensation - hourly rate plus a bi-weekly bonus + lodging/travel/meal expenses

Shift

• Night (Must also be willing to work Holidays.)

Assignment Length

• 13 weeks with the opportunity for extension

Requirements:

To be seriously considered for this role, you'll need to have:

• Education

• Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing.

• License/Certification: R.N. licensed in the State of Colorado, or compact license. NRP, BLS, ACLS, PALS and S.T.A.B.L.E., Intermediate Fetal Monitoring at a minimum

• Experience

• 2 years experience in Labor and Delivery Nursing required.

To be considered as a GVH Travel Nurse you must not be a current GVH employee (or have been employed by GVH in the last 12 months) or live within 100 miles of Gunnison, Colorado.

Responsibilities:

As a Labor and Delivery Recovery Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate and high quality care to expectant mothers during the Labor and Delivery process. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of duties, including monitoring the mother and baby's vital signs, assisting with medical procedures, and offering emotional support. Additionally, you will be involved in postpartum are and ensuring the well-being of both mother and newborn during the recovery period.

Compensation: $31.28 - $43.80/hour DOE (bi-weekly bonus and lodging/meal/car reimbursement added to overall compensation)

Physical Requirements

Occasionally (0-33%) - Walking, sitting, crouching/squatting, stooping, stairs, lifting (0-20 lbs), carrying (0-20 lbs), pushing/pulling (0-20 lbs)

Frequently (34 - 66%) - Standing, change position, reaching, reach across midline, handling, fingering

Continuously (37 -100%) See with corrective eyewear, hear clearly with assistance
