We are seeking a Traveling Turbine Mechanic in Long Branch, TX to be a part of our exciting future.

Schedule: 1st/2nd/3rd must be flexible

Pay rate: $22 - $27/hr. (Depending on experience)

Traveling Turbine Mechanic essential functions:

• Perform mechanical duties safely and achieve the repair, installation, and maintenance of heavy rotating equipment in power plants all over the country.

• Travel to location (Airfare, car rental and daily per diem covered) work both independently and in a team environment, will work closely with Safety team and supervisor to complete daily tasks.

• Able to read blueprints, follow layouts and technical documentation.

• Disassemble, inspect, modify, perform alignment, and re-assemble of Gas/Steam Turbines on: Siemens, GE, Mitsubishi, and Westinghouse.

• Install equipment and parts according to layout plans.

Job details:

The ideal candidate should have good mechanical and technical skills, with welding and overhead crane certification as a plus. One year of related experience.

The turbine mechanic role requires extensive travel nationwide and occasionally overseas (passport preferred). Applicants must be willing to work 7 days a week, including holidays, and be available for projects lasting up to 3 weeks. The work season runs from September to early July, with a break in late July and August. Flexibility for day/night shifts is required.

Preferred experience includes gas/steam turbine engines, millwright, boilermaker, diesel mechanic, or turbines. OSHA 10 certification and a valid driver's license are mandatory.
