The Role The expected start date for this position is scheduled as needed. You will spend your first days in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX. Our Ideal Candidate:

Tech savvy (iPad and other hand tech tools in service trade) Must be an "outside the box" thinker Great customer interaction and communicator Will spend your first week in Fort Worth, TX and will be traveling 85% of the time. Responsibilities Read blueprints or technical diagrams Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment Follow policies, procedures, safety rules, and federal and state laws. Complete simple and/or complex critical electrical tie-ins and outages.

Be able to inspect and replace faulty wires, electrical systems, or components to determine condition and identify repairs needed. Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision. Qualifications High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Performed as the lead electrician on commercial construction projects Minimum of one (6) years relevant work experience in a heavy commercial setting (Strongly Recommended) Journeyman's Electrical License - Required Working Knowledge of conduit bends and wire pulls.

Working knowledge of electrical systems, machines, and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Ability to read and comprehend complicated blueprints, drawings, schematics, specifications, codes, electrical formulas, and handbooks Must be familiar with the National Electric Codes, electrical theory, and be comfortable working with high voltage three phase circuits, generators, transformers, switch gear Outstanding ability to use various testing devices related to the electrical and mechanical trades Exceptional ability to work on projects simultaneously and prioritize work, as required Ability to lead and supervise a group of up to 25 at a project site and remain task oriented Experience with, and comprehensive knowledge of a facility lock-out / tag-out program. (Compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 control of hazardous energy) Prefer a minimum of four (4) hours formal training on the NFPA-70E code, understand arc-flash dynamics, hazard analysis, and PPE requirements for potential hazards. OSHA 10 and 30 certifications (preferred) Must have a current valid driver's license Must pass a background check of driving record.
