We are always on the look-out for new, motivated people to join our team. Inventory Associates perform inventory tasks at a customer's store or warehouse physically counting merchandise, supplies, products, etc.

Inventories typically begin at different times of the day, depending on customer needs, including early mornings, late evenings and weekends. This is an entry level position starting at $ 12.00. Previous experience is not required and we provide paid training.

Requirements

Applicants must be 18 years or older, possess the stamina to stand for long periods of time, move and bend frequently and climb ladders and reach merchandise regularly, with or without reasonable accommodations. Must have reliable transportation and internet access to check work schedule..

Must be able to pass a background check, drug test and MVR.

JobDescription: Ensuresall quantities within the Oracle, PKMS, and Atomic match the physicalquantities in storage at the Ankeny facility through continuous cyclecounts. Inventory Cycle counter workswith department managers to research discrepancies. In addition to assuring accuracy ofinventory, must demonstrate knowledge of plan processes in order to accuratelyresolve issues with all types of materials. Responsibilities: * Conducts cycle countsinventory on a scheduled basis for plant operations, warehouse andreceiving. Performs random audits onoutbound shipments to verify accuracy. Responsiblefor maintaining inventory accuracy of 30,000 location warehouse along with twooutside warehouses. * Daily monitors transactions across Oracle, PKMSand Atomic and resolves transactional errors that occur in betweensystems. Investigates discrepanciesthrough plant processes and troubleshooting system. Proactively address issues to reduce or avoiddowntime. * Support the execution of the O&D Process forthe Ankeny Plant. Organizing the formssubmitted by the Planning Team and submitting documents through the O&DSharePoint Portal. * Crosstrainand serve as a back up to the label room. This includes label receiving, put away, staging and weighing back oflabels after the runs are complete. * Responsible for inventory accuracy and cyclecount procedure to external financial auditors for year-end audits, quarterlyoutside warehouse audits and month end reconciliation. * Reportsmissing case I.D. labels and damaged or mislabeled product to appreciatedepartments. Works with departmentsupervisors to correct issues. Monitorand replace rack labels as necessary. * Responsiblefor reporting all food safety and quality problems to personnel with authorityto initiate action. Conducts lock downsto products based on food safety or quality reasons. Responsible for followingGMP's. Experience, Skills, Education: * High school education or G.E.D. * Knowledge of various information systems, Policies,and practices is preferred but not required. Equipment/Software Skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook required. Oracle, PKMS, Atomic, and MicrosoftSharePoint preferred.
