THE OPPORTUNITY:

Travel the United States all year long! Time home between projects. This position requires the ability to understand all aspects of order selection, container stacking and movement of product within a warehouse-distribution facility. The associate will perform product order selection from warehouse racking storage areas and place product on pallet or other shipping container in order to minimize damage and facilitate proper loading of product being shipped from facility. Primarily this will be a grocery and freezer environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be willing to travel up to 100% of the time nationally

  • Must be willing work a flexible schedule/additional hours as business needs require

  • Must have at least 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment as a selector operating powered equipment to include but not limited to electronic pallet jacks, fork lifts and clampers and tow trucks, based upon customer's policies and with appropriate training and certification

  • Self-managed individual capable of assessing needs and taking appropriate action

  • Must be able to read work orders and follow verbal and computer instructions regarding job assignments.

  • Be able to transport product from storage area to designated area within facility within standard time and following all safety and standard operating procedures

  • Selects product in accordance with a predetermined picking order either by hand or assisted by equipment maintaining accurate records

  • Must follow all safety rules and seeks to maintain a safe working environment

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and carrying distances up to 15 feet; while bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, and moving freight

  • Must be able to work in changing temperatures (32 degrees and up); passing back and forth continuously

  • Must have hearing capabilities to recognize signal horns of equipment moving through warehouse

  • Experience with Vocollect, Voxware, RF scanning or other aisle navigation tools a plus!

We're looking for compassionate, responsible, and adaptable Travel RN Case Managers to join Good Samaritan's Rapid Response Team who can provide care to assigned patients/clients in a caring, safe, and efficient manner. This position comes with premium compensation starting at $60 / hour, guaranteed full-time hours, and a comprehensive benefits package. On top of that, we cover your costs associated with travel, lodging and food. If you love travel, we offer short-term assignments that vary from 2-4 weeks and employees are given 24 hours' notice of their next assignment. The RN Case Manager will be expected to travel 100% of the time on the job. Must be willing and able to work in COVID positive environments and travel to different states across the Good Samaritan Society footprint. The Registered Nurse (RN) Case Manager is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide professional nursing services to patients/clients at home. The nursing process includes the documentation of human responses to actual or potential health problems in the home environment. This practice includes dependent, interdependent and independent functions. Collaborates with patient/client and family, other inter-professional colleagues, such as physicians, to plan, implement and evaluate care. Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilizes appropriate age and population specific standards as designated in their assigned setting. Cares for patients/clients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for patients/clients in the home setting. Responsible to implement the nursing process, the coordination and continuum of care, patient/client assessment, patient/client education, triage, and various other nursing interventions. Functions within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in state of practice and licensure. The Professional Nursing Practice recognizes the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements as published by the American Nurses Association as the foundation of nursing care delivery and professional conduct. Assures physicians' orders are processed and physicians are notified in a timely manner as needed while observing and documenting observations and care given to residents. Directs and assists with resident, family, and significant other education in conjunction with care team. Seeks to evaluate outcomes based on an integration among established clinical, financial and utilization data. Functions in structured and unstructured health care settings described as a geographic and/or situational environment that may not have established policies and procedures. Utilizes independent nursing judgment when integrating health care. Has knowledge of and utilizes appropriate age-specific structured care methodologies, such as protocols/integrated clinical pathways/guidelines/standards of care relating to the overall health care needs of the residents. Interviews potential residents and assesses residents in compliance with regulations, policy and procedure. Uses assessment information for admission and continued stay in the long term care community. Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Minimum of one to two years of professional nursing experience in a clinic care setting preferred. In-depth knowledge of specialty area preferred. Currently holds an unencumbered multistate RN license with the State Board of Nursing. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
