Weekly Pay Range - $1071 To $1190 Job Title: Sterile Processing Technologist Job Specialty: Nursing Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Full-Time, 2-10pm (includes weekend call one to two times during the contract duration) Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Prefer unrestricted licensure as a Certified Nurse Assistant Certifications: BLS preferred Must-Have: High school diploma or equivalent training preferred Job Description:

• Maintain designated supplies for assigned areas.

• Ensure all equipment and supplies are available for each surgical case.

• Process surgical instruments in accordance with AMMI recommended practices.

• Decontaminate contaminated instrumentation in a safe, effective, and timely manner.

• Ensure proper assembly of surgical sets and instruments.

• Complete and ensure accuracy of instrument count sheets.

• Assist OR staff in locating instruments needed for cases.

• Maintain permanent records of sterilization for surgery department and other departments as needed, in accordance with recommended practices.

• Reestablish a safe and clean environment, including cleaning rooms and surroundings, and removing linens or disposable items following established regulatory policies.

• Clean, prepare, and maintain supplies needed for surgical procedures such as laryngoscope blades, face masks, tubing, filters, soda lime, glide scope, ultrasound, fluid/blood warmers, and specialty pumps.
