Treva Corporation is currently seeking full-time travel Emergency Room RN for a hospital in Goodyear, Arizona. Contract will start off as 13 weeks, but a very high possibility of extension. This is a night (6 p-6:30a) Must have a year of travel RN experience. Will float to any comparable unit. Great pay!

RN Job Duties:

  • Collect current symptoms, as well as a detailed patient history and then consults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans ?
  • Performs triage, while considering both physical and psychosocial elements ?
  • Manages basic life support needs and stabilizes patients until the attending physician is available, based upon nursing standards and protocol ?
  • Initiates corrective action whenever information from monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology ?
  • Records patients current vital signs ?
  • Works directly under physicians, assisting them during exams, diagnostic testing and treatments
  • Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications.
  • Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse ?
  • Provides IV therapy ?
  • Cleans and bandages wounds ?
  • Provides basic, bedside care ?
  • Initiates patient education plan, as prescribed by physician. Teaches patients and significant others how to manage their illness/injury, by explaining: post-treatment home care needs, diet/nutrition/exercise programs, self-administration of medication and rehabilitation, as well as provides referrals to other healthcare professionals for follow-up treatment ?
  • Displays professionalism while completing multiple urgent tasks in a timely manner ?
  • Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner
  • Performs other position-related duties as assigned, depending on assignment setting

Qualifications:

  • Must have at least 2 years of ED experience
  • At least 1 year Travel RN experience
  • Current Arizona RN license with no restrictions
  • Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC or PALS
  • Current immunizations and/or screenings (MMR, DPT, Varicella, HEP B and TB) required

We are here to find the right position for the right person.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Treva Corporation is currently seeking full-time <strong>CVOR Registered Nurses </strong>for <strong>days (6:30a-3p</strong>) <strong>plus on call</strong> for a well-known hospital in<strong>, </strong><strong>Goodyear, Arizona</strong>. This is a <strong>13 week</strong> contract with a high possibility of extension. Must have at <strong>two years</strong> of CVOR experience, 5 years minimum Trauma experience, NEED RECENT CVOR EXPERIENCE!Great pay!</p><p>The CVOR RN is responsible for sterilizing and setting up the surgical tools, preparing the operating room and helping other members of the team put on their sterile gowns, gloves and masks. The RN will also clean and prepare the incision site. After the operation, the RN will bandage and stitch wounds and incisions and transport the patient to the recovery room. The RN will continue to provide care until the patient is transferred to another unit or discharged from the facility. RN OR Cardiovascular nurses generally work in surgery centers, hospitals, clinics and private physicians&rsquo; offices. The work environment may be high pressure and require quick thinking and the ability to remain calm in a crisis. Surgical nurses work in a dynamic and challenging environment, taking on key roles in lifesaving surgical procedures and the surrounding care. Some surgeries last several hours and RN could spend many hours on their feet. Duties vary depending on the RN&rsquo;s level of expertise. The job can be very rewarding but every time the nurse enters the OR there is a possibility of losing the patient. Compassion and tact is necessary when interacting with worried patients or grieving family members. Job Tasks and Duties of the OR Cardiovascular RN may include: Observation and monitoring of the patient, including comfort, safety, blood pressure and heart rate using EKG equipment and notify the physician if something changes or appears wrong. Explain and educate the patient and family members about procedures to obtain cooperation and reduce anxiety. Prepare reports of procedures and treatments for interpretation by physician. Conduct electrocardiograms, phonocardiograms, echocardiograms, stress tests and other cardiovascular tests to record patient&rsquo;s cardiac activity, using specialized electronic test equipment, recording devices and laboratory instruments. Attach electrodes to the patient&rsquo;s chests, arms, and legs and connect electrodes to leads from the EKG machine.
