Travel Registered Nurse Telementry

We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Travel Registered Nurses with experience in Telemetry to join our team. As a Travel RN Telemetry at NCG Associates, you will have the opportunity to work in different healthcare settings, travel to various locations, and provide top-quality care to patients in need.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Telemetry unit, including monitoring vital signs, interpreting cardiac rhythms, and detecting any changes in patient condition
• Assess and analyze patient data, document findings, and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
• Provide patient and family education on disease management and post-hospital care
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information and medical records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and effective patient care
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients

Requirements

• Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience, preferably in Telemetry
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of cardiac monitoring and Telemetry techniques
• Excellent assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to travel and work in different healthcare settings
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Proficiency in electronic medical records and other relevant software

Pay Rate: $1,980@36hrs weekly

Desired Start Date: ASAP

Length of Assignment: 14 Weeks

Hours per Week: 36

Shift and Time: 12hr Nights: 1845-0715*

Weekend Rotation: Every Other Weekend Required

On-call Requirements: None

Holidays Requirements: Required based on unit needs

Floating Requirements: Will float to all acute care units

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years recent Telemetry experience in the last 18 months in a Hospital setting, Must have 1yr Pediatric experience.

License Required: KS RN or Compact RN License

Certificates Required:BLS, ACLS & PALS
