• Emergency Room Number of positions: 1 Shift: Day shifts- 36 hours (weekends rotating) Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 06/25/2023 Hourly Pay: $80 OT: 1.5 Weekly pay: $2,880 JOB DESCRIPTION Being ready to respond and equipped to deal with a medical emergency.
  
  Quickly assessing patient needs. Treating critical injuries, allergic reactions, and trauma. Performing minor medical operations.
  
  Cleaning wounds. Drawing blood. Maintaining emergency room care standards.
  
  Assisting with insurance paperwork. Ensuring the efficiency of the patient check-in process. Displaying strong decision-making skills in emergency scenarios QUALIFICATIONS BLS/ACLS Two years of emergency room and telemetry experience Basic computer proficiency inclusive of ability to access, enter, and interpret computerized data/information.
  
  Effective interpersonal skills to facilitate communication with various members of the health care team, patients, and families. Organizational skills to set priorities and efficiently complete assigned work. Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing school, associate's or Bachelor of Science degree program; BSN preferred.
  
  Certification & License: Licensed to practice professional nursing in Massachusetts as a registered nurse. Requirements: COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
  
  SKILLS/ ABILITIES/ COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills. Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
  
  Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise. A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
  
  Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
