Student Success and Well-Being Activity and Service Fee Business Office:

The mission of the Activity & Service Fee Business Office is to provide financial and managerial oversight for Activity & Service Fee funding that supports meaningful and collaborative experiences for students which promotes the development of financial stewardship. The Activity & Service Fee Business Office provides excellent programs and outstanding services in the SGA Ticket Center.

The Opportunity:

UCF's Student Success and Well-Being Activity and Service Fee Business Office is now accepting applications for a Travel & Procurement Coordinator II. This role acts as a point of contact for procurement and travel related activities. This position reports to the Budget Analyst III of the Activity & Service Fee Business Office and will be a part of the SDES Finance Center team. This position assists in administering the ASF budget of $18+ million. This position may be moved at the management's discretion within the SDES division to a commensurate level position as determined by the Vice President of Student Development and Enrollment Services or by his/her designee.

This is an Auxiliary-funded position. Employment is subject to availability of funding and may cease at the time funding for this employment is depleted.

Responsibilities:

Procurement:

  • Review, approve, and process expense requests for good and services.

  • Ensure departments, student agencies, and registered student organizations (RSO) comply with established rules, regulations, and policies of the State, UCF, and Student Government.

  • Make procurement card purchases for departments, agencies, students, and RSO.

  • Prepare purchase requisitions and/or use of a purchasing card, purchase orders, expense authorizations, invoice receipts, and invoice payments.

Travel:

  • Receive, respond to travel requests; make expense card purchases for departments, agencies, students, and RSO; make travel reservations, payments, and ensure comply of university policies.

  • Collect receipts.

  • Create Spend Authorizations and Expense Reports for students upon request.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent and (2+) years of relevant experience or combination of relevant comparable education and experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, financial, procurement, and travel rules, regulations, processes; ability to explain facts, processes, procedures.

  • Knowledge of administrative/office procedures, technology systems, and workplace terminology, work independently and be part of a team environment while developing highly effective; conduct oneself in an ethical manner.

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to keep confidentiality.

  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.

  • Ability to use computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to support, configure, run reports, enter data, or process information.
