Job Title : Pharmacist Location : Great Falls, MT 59405 Shift Schedule : 8X5 (Monday to Friday) Position Type : Permanent Experience : Minimum 1 year of hospital experience required Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our healthcare team in Great Falls, MT. As a Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications in the hospital setting.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of hospital experience and possess a strong commitment to patient care and safety. Key Responsibilities : Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with prescription orders. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication therapy management.

Provide consultation and education to patients regarding medication use and potential side effects. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Monitor drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications to prevent adverse reactions.

Participate in medication safety initiatives and quality improvement activities. Oversee the storage and handling of pharmaceuticals to maintain their integrity. Stay informed about new drugs and developments in the field of pharmacy.

Assist in the training and supervision of pharmacy support staff. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes. Qualifications : Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree from an accredited pharmacy program.

Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of Montana. Minimum of 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience. Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, dosage calculations, and medication management.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety.
