Job duties to include:
Conduct psychosocial assessment and information related to diagnosis/treatment experiences, age, developmental stage, lifestyle, traits/disorders and psychopathology
Provide clinically sound individual, family, and group therapies within required time frames and establish therapeutic relationships with patients and families
Communicates psychosocial impact of diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment interventions; ensures good clinical judgement to ensure optimum patient care and discharge planning
Provide high quality patient care, displaying good skills in assessment of patients' functional needs and outcomes; consulting with and participating as part of the patients' treatment team
Complete and maintain all required documentation in a timely manner consistent with policies and regulations
Assess patient needs regularly and assist in the developing and updating of the Master Treatment Plan
Work within a team environment to ensure that each treatment modality is appropriate for the patient
Provide group educational therapies to assigned patients consistent with established techniques and methods

Qualifications
Travel Therapist Job Requirements:
Education: Master's degree in psychology, mental health counseling, and/or social work
Licensure/Certifications: must be licensed in the state of Florida as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT; BLS required
Experience: post Master's working experience including group therapy, case coordination activities, substance abuse, mental health and specific treatment related to patients in acute care and/or intensive outpatient settings
