Weekly Pay Range - $2759 To $3065 Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Step Down Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in a large hospital; Level 1 preferred, Level 2 acceptable. Travel experience preferred. License: Any state RN license accepted; can apply for temporary license if needed, compact license accepted. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; NIH preferred; EKG tele competency assessment required. Must-Have:

• EPIC and ventilator experience

• Ability to read and interpret cardiac monitor strips

• Excellent critical thinking and time management skills

• Experience with ventilator and trach management, cardiac monitor interpretation, ACLS, chest tubes, drains, cardiac drips, and stroke care. Job Description:

• Work in a high acuity, fast-paced step-down unit.

• Manage a patient population that includes DKA, GI bleed, COPD, pneumonia, stroke, sepsis, and urology complications.

• Targeted patient ratios are 1:4, but can be up to 1:5-6.

• Float as needed, providing support to the nursing care team in different units as needed.

• Work every other weekend/holiday.

• Adapt to varying census levels with potential for shift cancellation.

• Wear navy blue scrubs.

• Request RTO with initial submission; no additional RTO will be added after an offer. Additional Requirements: - NIH Stroke Certification preferred.

• Must complete an online EKG/Dysrhythmia exam within a specified timeframe.

• Flu vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions accommodated.
