Travel Nurse RN - Icu/Critical Care In Brevard, NC

• Titratable drip competence

• Telemetry experience Job Description: - Work in a 30-bed acute care unit with a focus on ICU, with staffing ratios of 1:1-3 for ICU, 1:4 for Step Down, and 1:5-6 for Medical-Surgical.

• Be prepared to collaborate with a team comprising 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, and 2 Patient Care Technicians during night shifts.

• Use equipment including Baxter IV pumps, Kangaroo feeding pumps, and GE telemetry.

• Proficiently use Cerner EMR software.

• Execute typical unit procedures such as 12 lead EKGs, phlebotomy, and IV starts.

• Maintain a patient experience-focused demeanor.

• No required call, but availability for at least 3 weekends in a 6-week schedule is requested.

• Be prepared to float to the Transitional Care Unit if needed.

• Adhere to the dress code of navy scrubs or navy bottoms with a white top. Preferred or Nice to Have: - ICU competence
